The Used Vehicle Dealer Award recognises the outstanding performance of a used vehicle retailer in Northern Ireland.
The award winner will demonstrate outstanding sales performance, as well showcasing their quality and innovation across all areas of the business i.e., sales and after-sales, innovative products and technology, marketing, capital investment, staff retention and training, and corporate social responsibility.
They will demonstrate market leadership and have a strong presence in the automotive industry. They will also hold high levels of customer satisfaction and positive feedback.
Essential Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a used vehicle dealership located and operating within Northern Ireland.
- Does not sell or advertise new cars.
Award Criteria
Sales Performance: Exceptional sales achievements in the used vehicle sector, including volume and revenue growth.
Quality & Innovation: Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in vehicle sales, after-sales services, and overall customer interactions.
Marketing Excellence: Demonstrate effective marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and engage target audiences, tailored to the scale of the dealership.
Capital Investment: Evidence of investments made in the dealership to improve infrastructure, technology, or customer facilities, enhancing the overall customer experience, and how they have positively impacted the business and customer satisfaction.
Staff Retention and Training: Evidence of policies or practices in place for staff development and retention in the past 12 months.
Corporate Social Responsibility: Evidence of initiatives undertaken to give back to the community or to improve the environmental sustainability of operations.
Customer Satisfaction and Feedback: Evidence demonstrating high levels of customer satisfaction in the past twelve months.
Submissions should be clear, concise, and supported by verifiable evidence or data where possible. Each criterion should be addressed individually, providing specific examples or case studies that demonstrate excellence and distinguish the used vehicle dealer from its competitors.
The judging panel may request to interview or set a test for an entrant as enhanced assessment if required.
